Forests have particularly suffered numerous oak deforestation recently in the forests of Retz and Saint Gobain.
There is no distinction made of the age of the trees before cutting them. Let’s remind that « distinction » is what allows the forests to regenerate themselves, which is, by so, vital.

Those trees are sold in China to make furnitures which are then imported in France for sales. This whole process is quite ironic and contradictory, but it is mainly an aberration.

As for the carbon footprint, those importations and exportations create a very important and concerning amount of pollution being transported by truck and then containerships. Even so, the process is not over yet because the furnitures are then sent back again in containerships and trucks for sales.

Let’s not forget that the tree is not only necessary but vital to us humans ; not only those it create shadow but most importantly, it allows the capture of carbon dioxide to turn it into oxygen, thus enabling us, humans to breathe. It is also home to all kinds of fauna and flora.
Trees communicate through their roots and send a volatile substance into the air to bring rain. By so, trees are natural dams to heavy rains which avoids flooding in villages and other floods. And last but not least, the trees and particularly the Oak tree is gifted with a beauty which can not be compared being, for a lot of them, centennial.

There is an emergency to send this petition to the National Office of Forests to let them know our indignation concerning the aberration which represents the oak deforestations in the forests of the Retz and the Saint Gobain in the department of Aisne.

Please, sign this petition, it is a whole ecosystem that we are part of !

Des coupures blanches de chênes notamment font rage dans les forêts de Retz et de Saint Gobain, une coupe blanche m'a t'on appris est une coupe sans distinction de l'âge de l'arbre, les petits sont coupés aussi, ce qui donne moins de chance à la forêt de se régénérer.

Ses arbres sont vendus en Chine pour faire des meubles et les meubles sont ensuite importés en France pour la vente, c'est très cynique, et surtout c'est une aberration.

D'un point de vue de l'empreinte carbone, c'est des pollutions de voyage puisque des troncs sont véhiculés en camions puis en bateaux. Puis les meubles sont de nouveau envoyés en bateaux puis en camions

Et n'oublions pas que l'arbre a une utilité pour les humains : de l'ombre, de la captation du dioxyde de carbone pour le transformer en oxygène (c'est le principale bénéfice de l'arbre) , il abrite toute une faune et une flore. Les arbres communiquent entre eux par les racines et envoient dans l'air une substance volatile pour faire venir la pluie, ils sont des barrages naturels à de fortes pluie ce qui évite les inondations dans les villages et les crues. Tout cela sans parler de la beauté des arbres et principalement des chênes qui peuvent être centenaires.

Il y a donc urgence à envoyer cette pétition à l'ONF pour leur faire part de notre indignation face à l'aberration de la coupe blanche des chênes dans les forêts de Retz et de Saint Gobain dans l'Aisne. Signez la pétition s'il vous plaît, il en va de tout un écosystème dont nous faisons partie !
