Currently at SUNY Brockport, our classrooms are not accessible to all students. Students with disabilities and plus-sized students do not have the proper accommodations to exist in class comfortably. This fight has been going on for years, with no results. The fact that students who pay an arm and a leg to obtain an education cannot learn comfortably is absolutely ridiculous. We as students are not paying tuition to be uncomfortable in our learning environment. Students should be able to come forward with an issue regarding tight desks and have it solved IMMEDIATELY, not run around for half the semester trying to get a desk moved into a classroom that doesn't leave red marks on their skin.
