Will Lemnos St Bush be saved? A small crowd was on hand this morning to support those going into the meeting: Heidi Hardisty and Lyn Jennings, co-coordinators of Bush Not Bricks campaign, Marg Owen and President Mary Gray of the Urban Bushland Council, Dr Ric How, retired curator of the WA Museum and Max Hipkins, Mayor of the City of Nedlands. All gave passionate arguments to save this Jarrah Banksia Woodland, pointing out how flawed the planning process has become. LandCorp has never properly assessed how much damage would be done to the bushland and its role an important ecological corridor between Underwood Ave Bush and Shenton Park Bushland.
