"LandCorp made a mockery of community engagement processes" said Alison Xamon, Greens MLA, yesterday. LandCorp has ignored 1001 submissions made against their clearing proposal. Instead they have applied for a subdivision approval which could allow an exemption and enable 'Lemnos St Bush' to be cleared. This battle has laid bare our terrible planning laws and assessment processes. A system that lacks transparency and integrity! And at this stage, the public no longer has an official say in the process. Dozens of banksia and jarrahs, many over 100-200 years old, will be destroyed! PLEASE come along to the rally!
