As businesses struggle through the impact of Covid-19, we feel it is extremely disappointing to hear that Directors / Owners will now be excluded from the Wage Subsidy Scheme.  

Many small businesses will not survive unless this change is amended.  Thousands of business are down far more than 30% in revenue.  It is feared that more businesses will now permanently close due to this change, resulting in more people becoming unemployed.

We are calling on the Government to allow Directors / Owners to receive the Wage Subsidy until the end of March 2021, particularly in the case of small business.
