Hello, this is Ishaan, Natalie, Liliana, and Kashvi. We are participating in a contest called "Kids Witness News." Our focus is on the Oceanic Whitetip Sharks, which are critically endangered. We aim to protect these sharks and raise awareness about their plight. One of our key goals is to close loopholes in existing laws that allow the capturing of these sharks. We've noticed that many are accidentally caught due to fishing practices that target other marine creatures. To help save the Oceanic Whitetips, we are advocating for a law that prohibits removing any Oceanic Whitetip Sharks that have been previously dead or killed by fishermen out of the ocean.  The deceased sharks are taken out of the ocean for their fins and meat (as food for humans).
