Petition updateOrder a Public Inquiry into NHS Whistleblowing with an investigation into the waste of public funds by the Department of Health.United Nations Reports

Rita PALUk, ENG, United Kingdom

There are two United Nations Reports I've been involved with
1. The first one is the Report on Whistleblowers/Whistleblowing
Professor David Kaye wrote a great report here
http://www.ohchr.org/EN/Issues/FreedomOpinion/Pages/ProtectionOfSources.aspx
The above report refers to my submission. I'm enclosing it here to enclose a correct URL.
https://www.academia.edu/36541665/Submission_to_the_United_Nations_Whistleblowing . The main criticism is the lack of independent support. As you all know I'm of the view that all mainstream groups purporting to support whistleblowers and even those backed by Prof Bolsin are also responsible for increasing the weight of litigation in the NHS and creating victim pools for litigation. They are also too close to the GMC for my liking. Nevertheless, doctors will support them hence you will all note that there has been zero improvement in patient safety but the good news for lawyers is that they are getting richer. All well and good but sadly it's probably at the cost of patient welfare.
2. The second matter raised was about the Metropolitan Police. I should say I would never have known about these deaths unless I had been dragged down 180 miles, bundled in a unmarked car, handcuffed and thrown in a cell. Many of you may also wish to know my mother nearly died in this ambush. As a lot of Caucasian people felt all this was justified for republishing already public material, I thought there was a wider issue at play.
I subsequently drafted the complaint in my head while at Stoke Newington Police station listening to their bizarre methods of questioning and efforts to provoke me. There was a lot of analysis going on in my mind. There is no doubt the police have their own narrow minded view of me but it's nothing compared to the view the entire world have on them now.
I was cleared by the CPS to the disappointment of many Caucasian people. It was also a disappointing thing for many that I hadn't died and neither had my mother. As we didn't die and the Home Office couldn't gleefully place me on their death in custody list, I penned a complaint after collecting all the data on the Metropolitan Police.
People ought to know I did it be because the deaths post arrests are now out of control. There is always a side effect to arresting whistleblowers who you assume to have a low IQ because they are dressed badly and are from the ethnic minority. Appearances can always be deceptive. They often tend to whistleblow on the organisation arresting them too.
I do plan to tell the United Nations that the Metropolitan police can't read or count. Yes, I do have evidence for that too. Perhaps this lack of reading comes down to the fact that I'm from a minority group and the view is that no one can be bothered to read or count. That's fine but I often wonder how many black people went to their deaths due to these glaring recklessness.
I cannot say I was supported by many during my journey from a four hour handcuffing to today. I am though grateful to my family and my friends in Kashmir, the people of Kashmir and the Audit Commission UK who have all helped me, my long term friend Dr Rohen Kapur and the odd person who tried their best for me.
I am a victim of the ongoing policy of institutional racism endemic in the Metropolitan Police. The courts and their own ilk may support them but it will never remove the fact that they have caused many lives to end. I could have been a death in custody statistic at Stoke Newington but I did live to write my concerns. As we all live to a better tomorrow, we should remember the many lives that have been lost and destroyed by the Metropolitan Police. The threshold for arrest for minority groups is too low and we all know why this is set so low. Getting away with an abuse of power is what the Metropolitan Police do best.

Other media outlets have run this story and I'm glad the activists are calling for justice. The complaint was made for all those who died at Stoke Newington Police station and I very much hope the road to justice is made easier.
