It is hard to ever imagine that the GMC was once called a Totalitarian regime by a High Court judge. This is forgotten mainly because few in England wish to accept that an organisation that regulates doctors could have these traits. Many are oblivious to this fact until they themselves are thrown in the GMC pit. Most are unprepared, they are in denial and they continue to live in their vacuum until the shock suddenly hits them. It takes a lot of strength to dissociate from the dysfunctionally at the GMC. They are not above locking doctors in what we affectionately termed the health Gulag. Doctors could be there for years. It's important to grasp the way the GMC conducts itself. It's also important not to allow their dysfunction to ruin your own Christmas. The GMC has never liked those who complain or have an alternative view to them. I'm not the only person they tried to falsely label with a non descript diagnoses that not even they could name. I spent many Christmases untangling this mess. In the end, I understood that this is exactly what they wanted. This charity wished to occupy all my Christmas Days with their drab boring non sensical arguments. It was their way to win. As we get older and wiser, we understand that beyond dysfunctionally lies other parts of the world that does have purpose and rationality. It's therefore your job to find that oasis when you are stuck in headlock with such organisations. There are many organisations like the GMC in the UK. Most don't have insight, will relish the idea of ruining Christmas by making life a misery. I'm unsure how I rise above such things but its probably got something to do with the fact I don't really give a damn about authorities. In my view, no one ruins my mince pie and chocolate fest.
