When I started the petition yesterday evening, I had no idea that the response to it would be so overwhelming! THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! My heart has been deeply touched and I know Kristy's and Lily-Grace's are as well. LG is really struggling with not being able to be at school, though she has had fun traveling in her community with her cane to show that it is not a hazard to anyone. She misses her friends and her routine. Unfortunately, the response in her local community has not been as supportive. Parents of some of the other children are resentful and don't agree. A mother of a boy who noticed LG even told her son to trip her up... and he did it! Thank you to all of you, who are standing with Lily-Grace and her right to be independent! The naysayers may have won some battles, but we will win the war! Please continue to share her story and this petition!
