PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION OF EXPULSION – Tristan 

 

 

To Whom It May Concern,

 

We, the undersigned, respectfully submit this petition to request a reconsideration of the expulsion of Tristan

Tristan’s actions, which led to this decision, were not rooted in misconduct or defiance, but in an effort to protect fellow students. In a moment that required courage and moral clarity, he chose to stand up rather than stand by. While we understand and respect the importance of school policies and discipline, we believe that context and intent must also be carefully considered when determining appropriate consequences.

It is Tristan’s dream and passion to one day become a criminal lawyer—an ambition grounded in justice, fairness, and the protection of others. These are not distant ideals, but values he has already demonstrated through his actions, by standing up for those whose voices could not be heard. To deny him access to education is to place an obstacle in the path of a future built on principles we should be encouraging, not discouraging.

 

Discipline within any institution should aim not only to enforce rules but also to uphold fairness, encourage integrity, and support the development of responsible young individuals. Punishing a student for acting in defense of others risks sending a message that doing the right thing may come at the cost of one’s future. The Bully is still able to attend school, harras fellow students and female students even after head of discipline shared that a criminal case is being build against the bully.

We are not asking for rules to be disregarded, but rather for this situation to be reviewed with balance, compassion, and a full understanding of the circumstances. Tristan’s education and future opportunities should not be permanently impacted by an act that reflects values we strive to instill in young people—courage, responsibility, and the willingness to protect others, 

We kindly urge the school administration to reconsider this decision and explore an alternative resolution that allows Tristan to continue his education while still addressing the situation appropriately. Multiple students have come forth with complaints, multiple teachers was aware of the issues. 

The school has shared that an official criminal case is being built against the bully and exclaimed that he is going to juvenile
