Dear Friends of Barbara O'Neill

On Thursday, June 27, 2019, Barbara has a hearing with the Health Care Complaints Commission of NSW in Sydney which could determine her future as a Health Practitioner in Australia.

All 28,000 of us who have signed the petition so far would testify that Barbara's health advice empowers us to make better health choices, do our own research, raise healthier families, and take pressure off the medical burden of disease. 

In the meeting on June 27, Barbara will be called to a hearing with the HCCC to answer the charges of 4 people whom she has never met, treated, or advised who have trumped up charges and framed stories against her for the sake of pushing their own political agendas and silencing those with differing ideologies about healthcare.  The Friends of Science in Medicine strongly push a medical approach, particularly with regard to vaccination, and Barbara and her husband Michael believe that people should be INFORMED and given the right to CHOOSE.  (Find Dr Tenpenny on Facebook if you wish to learn more about the heated issues surrounding vaccination).

Whether you are pro or anti-vaccination is not the issue - the issue is taking away people's rights to CHOOSE, and vilifying those who think differently.  Already we have seen the impact of the Friends of Science in Medicine pushing their weight around with The Department of Health, demanding the recent Review of the Australian Government Rebate on Private Health Insurance for Natural Therapies, which resulted in many credible natural therapies such as Naturopathy and Massage Therapy no longer receiving rebate for services through prominent private health insurance companies due to supposed "lack of evidence."

If our government continues to be bullied by such a forceful group that is powered by big Pharmaceutical companies, we should have grave concerns for our future freedoms in Australia, because this political group is on a rampage against Natural Medicine.

However, all is not lost!  In the Bible we read a fascinating story of a King who made a decision to force his ways onto all the people of his Kingdom, against the conscience of three young men called Shadrach, Meshach and Abed-Nego.  The issues at stake were serious - anyone who didn't obey the King's command would be thrown into a burning furnace alive!  However, the young men stood firmly for what they believed in, and were called to an angry King for a 'hearing'.

In the 'hearing', as the King poured out threats to have them thrown into the furnace if they continued to disobey, they bravely told the King about their powerful God - the Creator of Heaven and Earth, who is "able to deliver us...."  These men believed in prayer, and asked God to help them in their time of need.   You can read how the story ended in Daniel chapter 3 - an amazing story about how God comes to the aide of those who seek His providential intervention when they are powerless!

Would you join us as we seek Divine Intervention on behalf of Barbara?  That God will guide her as she shares her defense, and give wisdom and understanding to those making decisions, to help them grasp the issues at stake with regard to vilification and freedom of speech, and that Barbara's case can set a precedent that allows Australians to continue to CHOOSE to make their own educated decisions with regard to natural health care.

If you would like to, you can make a last minute appeal on behalf of Barbara before the hearing date (June 27, 2019) to the decision makers, and anyone else you can think of who may be able to help.  People power can still change the world!  But the BIGGEST power to change comes from God!  We earnestly seek God's will for Barbara's future as we pray for a positive outcome.
