May 25, 2016 — BREAKING: Vermont Gov. Peter Shumlin has just signed a bill making Vermont the eighth jurisdiction—behind California, New Jersey, Oregon, Illinois, New York, Washington D.C., and Cincinnati—to protect LGBTQ youth from the dangers of conversion therapy. This weekend the Democrats will take up our resolution to ban conversion therapy not only for minors but also for adults. We have passed similar resolutions at the county levels - we are hopefully optimistic that it will pass!
