Hi all. It’s been a long time since I wrote about The Retailery, but I’m excited to update you on it today.

As you know, nearly 4000 of us voiced that we wanted to save Romford’s best After Work Venue. I was blown away by the support for the venue, and know that they were too .

Things didn’t work out exactly as we thought they would, but I’ve visited the place this week and learnt that it’s actually a better outcome then we could have imagined.

The Retailery has been renamed as Heart & Soul and rescued as a really great place. Richard, the chap who made the amazing pizzas is still there and now offers gourmet burgers. And Jas is still there offering her authentic curries.

There’s been a bit of an upgrade too, so the live music nights are another level. I think I even spotted a baby-grand.

There's a mailing list for event updates too. And again, a massive thank you to everyone who signed the petition. And to the amazing folk at Heart & Soul who’ve saved our favourite place to eat, sing, and relax after work.

So, in short, The Retailery is saved and improved.
