Hi, I’m Hannah and I am petitioning Haven Holidays to stop using eggs from caged hens in their 37 holiday parks across the UK.

I am someone that cares deeply about all animals. Hens are intelligent and sensitive creatures with a wide range of natural behaviours like pecking, dust-bathing and foraging. It saddens me to know that these egg laying hens are kept in tiny cages for their entire lives, unable to exhibit their natural behaviours. The overcrowding in cage systems can result in painful injuries, death and mental distress. These hens are condemned to endure lives that are simply not worth living.

Fortunately, many other big companies, like Premier Inn, Travelodge, and Parkdean Resorts, have pledged to eliminate caged hens from their supply chain due to petitions like this one! By signing this petition, you have the potential to improve the lives of thousands of hens by letting Haven Holidays know that sourcing eggs from hens kept in cages is not ok!

As consumers we have the power to make huge changes and we need to stand up to companies with poor animal welfare practices. Please make a stand against animal cruelty by signing this petition. Thank you so much!
