One of the highlights of my childhood was going to my neighbors every Saturday morning to play Mario Super Sluggers. The sheer amount of people on the roster coupled with the fantastic gameplay and replayabilty made for one of my favorite party games of all time.

Recently my friends and I took a Wii on vacation as well as an assortment of games. Amoung them was Mario Super Sluggers. I saw it and was immediately reminded of the good times I had as a kid. We popped it in and proceeded to play it for hours upon days, laughing ourselves silly and having a grand slam of a time.

In 2016 Nintendo re-released it on the Wii-U but I say it’s time for a new version, and with the capabilities the Switch has, this could be an incredible new update. The Joy-cons on the Switch could be the PERFECT controllers to use for this game, and just imagine the response from audiences having a new rendition of a great game. Nintendo would make a lot of people happy by releasing this, and all I can do is hope that people agree with that.
