Funny story

My mom claims on South Street across the street from Friendly's about a week ago was there was a menorah in the park. She claims she saw it, but I don't understand, since Hanukkah already happened months ago. Why would a menorah be placed in that park of New Providence? Hopefully people can comment if it's true that there was a menorah in New Providence at a park on South Street, recently.
