Brendan's contract is only for the current season. Therefore we need to;

Sign him to show our appreciation to his dedication, energy, and sheer work ethic that has been crucial for Luleå Hockey.

To me he's as given in the roster as the bears gap that they skate out from when entering the ice when playing in the home arena. 

Known as our "Joker" internally, Brendan's start in Luleå Hockey was colorful to say the least. The Luleå supporters calling him Chicken Shinnimin (Chickimin), he arrived to the club wearing a chicken suit. Letting the haters hate, and determined to prove them wrong & winning their love at the same time. The chicken headwear speaks volumes (and I do want one of them!)

He brings a unique flair to the game, fueling the team, his presence boosts morale, making every match a surprise. We, the fans, know that he always gives 110% for us all. 

By securing Brendan Shinnimin’s place on the roster until his retirement, Luleå Hockey would not only foster a great "if you give, you'll get" mentality, rewarding hard work and dedication  but would also send a message to other clubs to hopefully do the same for their key characters!

His authenticity is inspiring, when they perform shit, he calls it out, he can also be called out and more importantly learn from it and be honest both towards himself and the supporters.

Open about both his strengths and weaknesses, this opens up for constant improvement ultimately making him invaluable to the team to always aim for more and not be too comfortable.

By signing Brendan until he retires, the club would stand by the community and recognize essential players and foster a will to support the team wholeheartedly, as they'd take care of their own.

Let's show Thomas Fröberg just how much means to us all and sign this petition to demonstrate our collective desire for Brendan Shinnimin to remain a constant in Luleå Hockey until he is ready to hang up his skates.
