Well there’s so much to tell you all about my trip to London this week! It was a packed trip and pretty tiring but we got to do so much and to see so many people. I’ve loads of photos to share with you and I’ll fill you in on the conversations I had with the people I met. But first, something which all of you can do to help push this campaign higher up the parliamentary agenda.... Graham Jones my MP has tabled an Early Day Motion (EDM) to raise awareness of the campaign amongst all the Members of Parliament. 17 have signed in support of this so far and you can see who they are here by following the link : http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2017-19/580 On Wednesday I had the opportunity of meeting with 17 MPs from across the political parties, each of whom wanted to assure me of their support for the campaign. Some had personal reasons why they felt strongly about it, some had family members or friends with similar needs to me, others had constituents in their areas who they knew through their own ChangingPlaces campaigning. The profile of the campaign was raised considerably during my visit to London and this really is the end of the beginning rather than the beginning of the end!
