It's been a week since my last update, but it's been another busy one. Thank you to so many (literally 100s) of you who posted replies on here and sent emails of support regarding my experience at Chorley Hospital. Following a Twitter post, I did receive a reply from the hospital asking me to call their Customer Care team, which I did. They listened to me and were understanding of my situation. I was asked if I wanted to make a 'formal complaint' which I did, so that the issue is logged and gets passed to the Chief Executive. So then I sent a copy of my story to them and am now awaiting an official response. (Just as an aside, for those who have mentioned it, the Changing Place room was locked with a Radar Key, and yes I do have a Radar key, but unfortunately didn't have it with me at the time. But that besides, the issues of (1) why was the CP toilet locked, when no others are? (2) why did the hospital not have more than one key, the only one having been lost? and (3) why did staff, including reception and senior staff not know where or what the CP toilet room was? still stand! It is worth noting too, that I come across many other CP toilets which are not only locked with a radar key, but also with a separate key held by the store/office etc. So we are still inconvenienced to ask and wait for someone else to unlock the room for us). Anyway, in other news... there are only 5 more linen shopper bags left if anyone would like one, with my campaign logo and website details (£5). I had a new carer introduced earlier this week, and we managed a few hours out at Smithills Open Farm in Bolton one afternoon. I love animals and especially liked the meerkats. I met Aleksandr Orlov and given my excellent drama skills, I managed to do a good impersonation of him (see today's photo) and it's given my Campaign Team an idea for a slogan "Zack's Compare The Toilet . com" Just joking! I was also really pleased to catch up with my best friend Ted Robbins when I met him at Media City on Friday. It was great to chat to Ted about the progress of my campaign and hopefully I'll get to speak to him about it on his Radio Manchester show sometime soon. We are also hoping to get something together for the 'Inside Out North West' early next year. Lots of people have contacted me asking for posters, so if you can think of anywhere where you can display some, please let me know and I'll send you one, or better still, download your own copy here ... https://www.dropbox.com/s/fof03jbos8m0hy3/zacks%20campaign%20poster.pdf?dl=0 I'm hoping this will be the week that we reach 50,000 signatures, so please keep sharing, posting, retweeting, emailing and nagging your friends! I'm planning to make a short video this week, using the presentation which I made for Nelson & Colne College students a week or so ago. Hopefully it will be something I can upload and share on YouTube, so I'll keep you informed! Thanks again to all of you for your support Zack
