Well my campaign has now been live for 19 days and as I write this update, it has beaten the latest target of 35,000 signatures and is fast approaching 37,000!! Last night we printed a couple of tshirts at home for us to promote my campaign while I am out and about and by this afternoon I had received a number of enquiries from supporters on Facebook and Twitter asking me if they could buy one to help advertise the campaign! Some of these are people who I don't know, have never met and live all over the U.K. and I've been amazed by how much interest and support they have given to me so far. And so we are trying to get some more tshirts printed as soon as possible! I've also ordered some business cards with contact details about the campaign and I'm hoping that my auntie will help me with printing some car stickers too! A number of individuals have contacted me from charities working with disabled people and some who are local and national activists for disability causes. It's been great to read so many comments and words of encouragement. Another north west radio station have contacted me today and are interested in my story and I've also been asked to send my campaign story to 'Take A Break' magazine! I've sent Twitter messages to the Chief Executive of Moto but had no reply yet. I hope to get the chance to talk to him about my campaign soon. I was delighted today that that Joanne at changing-places.org has published a blog page about my campaign on their website and I've added a link to the blog here. Thanks for all your support. Keep following and spreading the word with your friends, colleagues and online contacts. I wonder if we'll hit 40,000 tomorrow? :)
