The UK economy crashed by 20% in April 2020.  More than just about any other economy in the world.  The Government's disasterous Pandemic stupidity coupled with #Brexit just around the corner is not helping. 

Britain fights with Europe on trade facing tariffs on exports and trying to eliminate on imports.  The EU will have none of that.  You leave you dont get any special treatment.

As the FT wrote "In April, all major sectors registered a sharp fall. Output in the services sector, which accounts for about 80 per cent of the economy, fell by 19 per cent in April compared with the previous month. Services, particularly accommodation, food services, travel, retail and entertainment, have been badly hit with most businesses having to temporarily close during the lockdown. But all services subsectors except for public administration and defence were a drag on growth in April. Industrial production shrank 20.3 per cent, the largest drop since the figures were first collected in 1968, with the sharpest fall for transport equipment such as car production, which fell 28.3 per cent."

With the pandemic, border controls with Europe are fierce for people and goods.  Dont think it will be any easier once COVID is gone.

The picture above is a harbinger of Britain's future.  Can it be stopped?  Only the voting public can get rid of this Government and hope for a Labour Government that despite flaws is finally being led by a someone with a head on their shoulders!
