The deadline is October 31st when the UK must leave the EU.  Johnson has no idea what will happen, he admitted to my friend he has no idea of economics.  His total mis-understanding of the backstop (means an open border) and EU correct response that Ireland is part of the EU will likely lead to all sorts of problems that we thought had been resolved.  The Irish Troubles could re-start leading to the sort of terrorism we had hoped had gone from the UK mainland.

Options for Remain are fading.  Only a free vote in Parliament can stop the nonsense.  It seems that MPs are in favour of Remain in general so let there be a free vote.  THAT is DEMOCRACY!  Even I will accept the verdict if Leave wins (not that I would like it and off to live in Ireland will I go).

A General Election is also democracy in action but time is too limited and Corbyn, although more sensible than Boris, has sat on the Marxist fence for too long for any clear thinking to enter his confused brain - unfortunately supported by increasingly weak John McDonnell.
