Nicola Sturgeon, First Minister of Scotland, has said it "beggars belief" that the UK is unable to say what relationship it wants with the EU only 18 months away from the Brexit vote. She noted the UK Govt has also failed "to produce any meaningful economic assessment of the different possibilities." She is adamant that Scotland remains in the EU single market and customs union. In the UK four minority parties - The SNP, Liberal Democrats, Plaid Cymru and the Greens - have all said they want the UK to stay in the single market and customs union after Brexit - something Prime Minister Theresa May has already ruled out. In a recent meeting, showing Labour's weakness, Corbyn stayed away from the meeting. Thus neither of the UK's major parties understand the disaster awaiting the UK - signs of which are in the weakening economy in the UK, now one of the worst in the EU. And yes, didnt you realise the UK is still IN the EU so the economy wont really tank until 18 months time. Does a petition such as this help?
