Petition updateSave the UK by forgetting BREXIT and Rejoining the EUUSA wont help a poorer UK after BREXIT

Today there is a vote in the UK Parliament about a 'softer' BREXIT. Sad, it is just another tactic by the weakening Conservative and Labour Brexiteers to show how clever they are. But clever at what? For the UK to leave the EU and splash around trying to fix trade deals that were already fixed before the Brexit nonsense? The USA under Trump loves trade deals i.e. ruining them to make America great again? Well if you believe that you are in the wrong place here. The Rand corporation in the USA has just issued a report that states, according to the BBC 'Nearly all the possible trading relationships between Britain and the European Union following Brexit would be less favourable than staying in the European Union'. [http://www.bbc.com/news/business-42315280] The Rand Corporation study said the worst option would be a "no deal" that would leave the UK economy 4.9% poorer by 2029. "No deal" would also have a negative effect on the EU economy, but it would be "relatively minor". The report said that even a "soft Brexit" involving staying in the free market would not be as positive economically as staying in the EU. Can someone tell me what the advantages are of leaving the EU? Did I miss something? Let's continue to help the UK come to its senses and continue to press for the UK to revoke Article 50. It can then head back into the EU, be warmly welcomed and become stronger again in company with its friends and neighbours. https://www.change.org/p/uk-parliament-stop-brexit-c1f72095-d955-4504-9fa2-2c278d204e95?recruiter=622263122&utm_source=share_petition&utm_medium=copylink&utm_campaign=share_petition&utm_term=petition_signer_receipt
