Witches and wizards of the world unite! 

Now it is known that there will be a Harry Potter TV Series, but will they just tell us the same story again? Is that what we want? Or do we want more of what we've always been dying to know: all the untold stories, more about Tom Riddle, more about Dumbledore and his family, more about Newt Scamander and all the other fascinating characters that the Harry Potter universe contains. How did Snape meet Lily? And what was it like when he realised that he was slowly but surely falling in love with her? We want to see The First Great Wizarding War. We want to see how Hogwarts was founded. We want to know more about the House Ghosts. We want to see all the secrets, the back stories, the untold stories that there is so much fan fiction about. 

In honour of Alan Rickmann, Robbie Coltrane, Maggie Smith and Michael Gambon, please don't just give us a remake with new actors. We love the Harry Potter movies for what they are. We love the actors in the movies. We don't want to see a story already told with new actors. We don't want a new cast for Ron, Hermione and Harry. We want stories we haven't heard before. Stories set in a time when Ron, Hermione and Harry didn't even exist. We have the Harry Potter parts and we have The Cursed Child. We know Harry's story and what happened after he left Hogwarts. But what was before that? How did it all come about, how did one thing lead to another? 

So the best thing would be for the Harry Potter Series to start many years before Harry existed and end there when Harry is born. That way we would have a long-awaited piece of the puzzle to put in front of the story of Harry Potter. 

Give us what we need. Fill the hole in our Potterhead hearts.

So I call upon you, brothers and sisters of magic, let us together make sure that they give us what our hearts desire.
