Swimming isn't just a sport, it is a necessary life skill. The high ranking HCPS bureaucracy wants to remove swimming from the athletic program. If they were to do this, all Harford County high school teams would no longer be able to participate in swimming. Students already have to pay to participate in any sport. Why isn't this efficient enough to balance the budget? This is because of the many figures that top school officials get paid, while teachers, staff, and students are forced to face the consequences. We must save swimming! It is just as much of a sport than any other. Please email as many HCPS board officials as possible! It would be very helpful if we got this cause noticed!
