Happy Friday animal allies! This was an exciting week for our campaign! On Wednesday, animal activists in New York spent the day taking actions outside of the grand opening of Carl’s Jr.’s first New York City location! Activists handed out buttons and literature to customers, informing them of Carl’s Jr.’s refusal to address the animal cruelty in its chicken supply chain. Protesters ended the evening with a huge demonstration outside of the new restaurant with lighted protest signs that spelled out “Boycott Carl’s Jr!” Let’s stand with these animal heroes by taking the following campaign actions! 1) Tweet about the New York Protest! Until Carl’s Jr. produces a policy, I’ll be taking my business to restaurants that prioritize animal welfare. Option #2: I’m calling to let you know that I’m joining the boycott against Carl’s Jr. until it addresses the animal cruelty in its supply chain.
