As students & Alumni from Hancock we are deeply saddened and concerned about recent decisions made by our Principal Dr. Harper to remove two essential staff members from our school. These two staff members are very valued in our community who have built relationships with staff and students. 

Mr.Gutierrez is a College and Career Coach who has helped every senior apply to colleges, scholarships, and FAFSA. His help is extremely needed when it comes to first generation students applying for higher education. He also helps other grade levels with anything they may need such as applying to programs and much more. He doesn't just help students but also builds strong connections with students along the way.

Mr.Gutierrez is a Tech person who helps any students facing any issues with technology. As we are a 1:1 student to computer school his help is always needed. He is always dedicated to help students and teachers with any technology issues within our school. Helping our school continue learning and succeeding. 

These two essential staff in our school are needed and deserve to stay. Their dedication to the school is immense and have made significant impacts in our community. The connections they have built in the school have allowed our school to feel safe and welcoming.

Which is why we urge our principal to rethink her decisions and reinstate these two valuable staff. 

We need these staff members to be able to succeed as a school.
