Ban glyphosate Fareham Council

The Issue

There has been 2 seperate incidences of both Fareham Borough Council in April and lately Hampshire County Council spraying glyphosate on kerbsides, round trees and lamposts, shortly after  which so many dogs became ill,  several on drips and many dogs sicking up blood. Glyphosate is a known carcinogenic in humans and can have an extremely adverse effect on our wildlife, cats and dogs.  After several hundred people complained to the council about the use of glyphosate, it fell on deaf ears in  April , and yet,  has recently been sprayed again in July.  Please sign this petition to ban the use of glyphosate, We would ask that the Council involved would either revert to strimming the overgrown grass areas or leave it!   This is absolutely not acceptable and cannot happen again.  Although we have no toxicology reports to support our case, the sheer amount of dogs that became ill with vomiting, diahorrea and bleeding was a huge coincidence , happening within 24 hours of glyphosate being sprayed.  We understand that Portsmouth Council have banned its use, we would ask Fareham to take the next step and protect our wildlife and pets.We need as many people as possible to please sign this petition so we can get this horrible weedkiller banned for good.
