Hello everyone, 

We hope this update finds you well

The impact of the coronavirus is being felt right across the UK and the world. We hope that you, your family and your friends remain safe and well. The ultimate aim of this petition and ongoing campaign was to make our community safer but right now there is a greater need to stay still and keep each other safe.

It is for this reason we have decided to slow down on our efforts with our campaign in trying to get Halton Borough Council to recognise that there are serious road safety issues on Moorfield Road which need addressing to avoid a risk to life.

A proposed demonstration to be held on Moorfield Road has been called off indefinitely and the local press have been informed of such but also that it could still happen in the future, when all this is over.

However, rest assured that once we have beaten and overcome this terrible situation, we will continue to voice the views of concerned residents in hope that representatives of Halton Borough Council eventually see sense.

We would like to take this opportunity to ask you to please look out for your elderly neighbours or vulnerable people in our community.

The fact that so many people have signed this petition and some have asked to take an active part in the Moorfield Road Action Group shows that we do have a sense of community in our area.
