The proposed Valley North Project would place massive 765-kV transmission lines and towers across West Virginia on their way from Putnam County to Frederick County, Maryland.

Many Upshur County residents question whether this project will provide meaningful local benefits while requiring our communities to bear the visual, environmental, and property impacts.

We're asking regulators and elected officials to protect our farms, forests, mountains, streams, wildlife, homes, and private property by rejecting this route and fully evaluating reasonable alternatives.

This isn't about politics. It's about protecting the place we call home.
