We've got some bad news. HRM has issued permits for cutting 20 trees along Robie and Bell Road. These mature urban trees are vital to our health, Earth's health and the beauty of our city. The QEII hospital expansion can be set back from the edge so the trees can be protected. Please write premier@novascotia.ca, mayor@halifax.ca and waye.mason@halifax.ca to ask that they protect Halifax trees. They're irreplaceable.
