My name is Jason, and I’m part of the Decision Maker team at Change.org. Our team works to ensure petitions like this one reach the right decision makers and helps encourage engagement with supporters like you.

We spoke with a representative from Franklin Township, who provided an update on the process and an upcoming public meeting.

Current Status:

• As of now, there are no formal proposals for the land in question.
• The first step in the process will take place on March 19, when the developer presents their proposal to the Land Use Committee in an open and public meeting.

What to Expect at the Meeting:

The Land Use Committee, which has served the community for over 30 years as part of the Civic League, will hear the developer’s proposal. This meeting is an opportunity for the public to learn more about what is being proposed and provide feedback.

Following the meeting, the Land Use Committee will consider the proposal and public input before making a recommendation to Indianapolis. Their recommendation will fall into one of three categories:
✅ Support
⚪ No Stance
❌ Oppose
