It has been a while since I last provided an update on our petition, and what a journey it has been. I’ve had some personal challenges that slowed my ability to move forward as quickly as I would have liked. But with ICE escalating its efforts in Minnesota and across the country—and with teams actively investigating the possibility of new detention center camps throughout the United States—I feel compelled to re-engage.

I am reaching out to the governor and taking steps to reignite and expand our movement. Alligator Alcatraz was one of the first camps, but the cruelty and the scale of what is happening continues to grow. We must do whatever we can, whenever we can, to stop what is within our power to stop.

Because of your efforts, our petition has now reached over 1,100 signatures. Your commitment, your voices, and your persistence have truly paid off.

We have already seen success—most notably with Elon Musk and with Avelo Airlines. These victories remind us that collective action works. If we stand together and continue to fight, we will win.
