After months of work, lobbying, activism, and some pretty crazy moments on the ground, together we have put a halt to the destruction of this endangered Glider habitat. This was the first step.
Now, more good news.
The Foundation for National Parks and Wildlife have launched the Manyana Conservation Fund. Donations made to the Fund will go towards the purchase of unburnt habitat, as well as ongoing conservation and management of native forest in and around Manyana.
This is your support in action. Your signatures can be turned into saved land.
FNPW’s Chief Executive Officer, Ian Darbyshire says that there has never been a more important time to conserve what remains of Australia’s natural environment, particularly following the horrific bushfires of 2019/20.
Some gave us no chance, but together we proved them wrong. Hard work and strong voices. Your signatures have made a world of difference. Now we have a way to save this forest ecosystem and keep the wildlife safe to reproduce for generations to come.
So far, we have funded everything through Manyana Matters Environmental Association. Of course, the contribution of time and expertise from so many wonderful people has been invaluable. The pro-bono efforts of our legal teams cannot be underestimated.
Though we have come far, it took the annihilation of billions of creatures to bring it to public attention. Our environments are being destroyed and species lost forever. Yet there are many who do not care. This is what we are up against. We must protect what is left. This is why I am here, and I’m sure you too.
Despite being in the midst of crisis, people do stand up for what is right and we have been extremely humbled by the thousands of people who have chosen to stand up for our voiceless wildlife and environment, thus supporting this historic campaign. There are many to thank.

It's not over but this is a wonderful step forward.
Please give what you can and please share. Thank you all so very much.
Best Regards Bill Eger.
