The Federal Minister for environment Susan Ley as deferred her decision to stop the destruction of the forest until the 17 August 2020. 

We are not idle though. Our commitment now is to buy out this rare forest ecosystem and gift it to the Conjola National Park. We have been weeks in the process of finalising this endeavour. As you can appreciate it has taken many hours of legal work to achieve a way forward. 

We are very close now to finalising the funding instrument. Hopefully more on this in the next update.
