We have crossed 55,000 signatures - thank you for joining our campaign from all across the country. Yesterday, our community representatives participated in a meeting chaired by Greens MLC, David Shoebridge, attended by Ozy Homes and its team of lawyers, Minister Rob Stokes and Shoalhaven Mayor Amanda Findley.
Unfortunately, the group has not found a viable solution yet. However, we recognise that solutions cannot be reached in a day and we are thankful to all parties for listening. We hope Ozy Homes recognises that more time is needed to explore other options and pauses recommencement of the land clearing.

A letter from Martine Maron, Professor of Environmental Management at University of Qld was cited. She commented on the threat of loss of habitat for over 150 bird species. We are so happy to receive scientific backing by these leading professionals. Ozy homes is currently due to recommence work on Monday, the 18th.
The people of my little town have already been traumatised by the destruction of the fires. We have seen a lot of wildlife death. Too gruesome to speak of. Our children should not have to now watch as this last piece of habitat is bulldozed and destroyed.
Please keep supporting us like you have been
