Ethnic cleansing must be denounced, for it is never anyone's privilege to force people from their homes simply out of desire for gain or dominance. This is an issue deeply personal and dire to me. I demand an immediate halt to the displacement activities in Gaza, Palestine. In recent years, land has been appropriated, and homes destroyed, displacing thousands with the objective of reaping millions from these usurped lands. This is not acceptable under any humanitarian standard. According to a report by the United Nation's Office for Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), over 200 Palestinian-owned structures were demolished or seized in 2020 alone in East Jerusalem and Area C, affecting more than 300 Palestinians. In Gaza, where the threat of displacement is persistent, the struggle of citizens must end, and their rights must be recognized. Every single signature adds weight to this plea.
