THANK YOU for helping us get to 1,000. Keep it going. Let's be heard. We are not even close to finished! If you haven't seen it yet, the new petition to approve the racetrack was inevitable. Their petition for the racetrack every point is exactly why we don't want it here. It literally spells out what we oppose: how this will increase tourism to the area we live in, bring in large crowds where we live, and lead to further economic development where we live. They couldn't have done a better job at laying out why we oppose more succinctly. l wonder how many who sign the approval petition actually live in our immediate area. I have had close family friends tell us they won't sign our opposition petition because they don't want this racetrack instead built near their home which has open farmland and space. A neighbor in our immediate rural area goes to racetracks like this and races their own cars. They like the idea of it but DO NOT want it near their house or rural community. That is telling indeed. People prefer to live in urban city areas, suburban areas, small, medium or large cities, AND in rural, agriculture, country undeveloped areas. Why does our preference matter less? It doesn't. Let's keep it country!
