Quick update:

We had an incredible turnout at the meeting this evening, both in person and online!!  We greatly appreciate everyone whose schedule allowed them to participate today.

The Planning Commission voted down the proposal with 4 votes against and 3 votes in support of the development.

We won this battle but it's likely the developer will appeal this decision and it will go in front of the City Council for final review.  

I will keep everyone updated on the next steps.  I'm sure there will be a good update in the Fayetteville Flyer tomorrow as well.

Thank you to everyone that signed this petition!  We can't declare victory yet, but your support has been meaningful and helped win this first battle.
