STOP THE CONCRETE PLANT | COMMUNITY APPEAL FUND

THE DECISION WAS NO. HELP US DEFEND IT.
2,400 VOICES. $10 EACH. ONE COMMUNITY.
In September, the Cochrane Planning Commission unanimously refused Heidelberg’s application to build a concrete batch plant. Heidelberg has appealed the decision, and the appeal has been filed with Alberta's Land and Property Rights Tribunal (LPRT).
The LPRT can overturn CPC's refusal and approve the plant. You helped make the community's concerns heard. Now we need professional expertise to ensure those concerns are effectively represented in the appeal process.
The appeal is moving quickly. We have engaged a lawyer and are taking urgent steps to seek residents' participation. An initial contribution from the GlenEagles Community Association allowed us to begin; community donations are needed to continue.
We need to raise an additional $25,000 to defend CPC’s refusal and ensure that residents’ concerns about air quality, traffic, noise, hours of operation, and long-term operations can be effectively presented.
2,400 supporters × $10 = $24,000!
That is almost our entire new fundraising goal. Will you contribute $10 today to help ensure residents have professional representation?
