The Issue

I am a resident of one of the homes that are being threatened by an enormous proposed townhome development on Hill Haven Road.- the potential destruction of these family homes & destruction of the land - unveils a bigger issue. A project of such scale would severely overcrowd the Statesville/Troutman area, already struggling with a rising population and limited resources. This is not simply about saving one house; it's about preserving the way of life in our community. Statistics from the Census Bureau show that our area has seen a 19% increase in population during the past decade, severely straining our existing infrastructure. Building over 400 new homes here will only add to the burden, disrupt local wildlife, and create unnecessary pressure on crucial public services like water and waste management. Furthermore, demolishing family homes to feed corporate greed breaks the backbone of any close-knit community - the preservation of its heritage and the respect for its legacy. Join us in standing up to this development plan. Sign the petition to halt the construction of 400 town-homes on Hill Haven Road. Let our voices be heard in unity and strong opposition to this threatening expansion project. Protect our homes, our community, and our way of life.  Please if you feel strongly against this contact Steve Johnson he is willing to hear your voice on the matter:  Steve Johnson
