We've been observers to the pathetic and debilitating sequence of events as Donald Trump took over once again as President in 2025. Tariffs, takeover threats, and repeated condescending remarks about several countries, including Canada have angered the world. 

He's insulted our military capability in Canada, which is particularly alarming in such challenging times. Now, more than ever, we need a robust and technologically advanced military fleet, equipped not merely with mediocre, but with the best available aircraft. The potential acquisition of F-35 aircraft, a pinnacle of aviation engineering, is now under threat of being squashed by the Canadian Government. Knowing Lockheed-Martin is American and Canadians desire to cut ties with American companies until the Trump disaster concludes, we shouldn't, especially at this juncture, deprive our country of the best military aircraft to replace our aging fleet of F-18's.

The F-35 aircraft, designed and built by Lockheed Martin, is indeed considered among the best in the world. It boasts unparalleled sensor fusion, situation awareness, and powerful weaponry that could greatly enhance the Canadian defense strategy. Yet, our government intends to stall its purchase, putting our national security at stake.

Often, it's been observed that a well-equipped air force can significantly bolster a nation's military power. By acquiring the F-35 aircraft, we could witness a significant improvement in our military standing and our defense capabilities.
