The next city council meeting for the City of Hemet is August 12th at 6 pm in the Hemet Library. You are allowed to speak for 3 minutes to share your concerns and questions. This issue is might not be on the agenda, but the planning commission and staff are working on petition request and LAFCO requests. So while they work in the background, let tell the council what we think. 

If you dont want to speak, that is okay. There will be a group to sit with and you can hold a sign saying "NO to Annexation". The council members need to know we are watching and paying attention. We don't want to add another layer of government to the unincorporated areas.

If you need more then 3 minutes to speak, someone who is not speaking, but at the meeting, can donae their minutes to you.
