What can you do?

Vote "HALT" Tuesday!

Let your voice be heard on the issue of overdevelopment in Manorhaven! Tell the Village you want a comprehensive plan for future development. Tell them to put residents first, not developers whose only goal is to maximize their own profits.

Step 1 – Vote “HALT” JUNE 17TH

• Go to Manorhaven Village Hall Tuesday, June 17th between 6am & 9pm and VOTE. 33 Manorhaven Blvd.
• Instead of voting for a Trustee, write in the word HALT.
• Both trustees are running uncontested and will win regardless.
• This is a chance to have your voice heard! The Mayor and Trustees have the final vote on upcoming large development projects, but remind them that we are voters and our voices matter!

Step 2 – Go to the “Public Forum” JUNE 19TH at 6:00pm

• Go to Manorhaven Village Hall Thursday, June 19th for the PUBLIC FORUM to discuss the development of 30 Sagamore Hill Drive
• The meeting starts at 6:30, but only 71 total people are allowed in the building. GO EARLY!!!! Don't let them fill the room with the developer's representatives!! 
• Let the Mayor and Trustees know that projects requiring variances that exceed the current building code limitations should be halted until a comprehensive plan has been developed for the future of the region.
• Let the Mayor and Trustees know all your reasons for opposing overdevelopment of the region

Step 3 - SPREAD THE WORD & HOLD OUR MAYOR AND TRUSTEES ACCOUNTABLE

• Send emails!
• Share on social media!
• Show up!
