Halt Government-Sanctioned Wild Horse Round-ups and Inhumane Practices

The Issue

I am a resident of Wyoming, home to breathtaking wildlife, particularly wild horses. Regrettably, our majestic horses are falling victim to ill-treated round-ups where they are forced to endure grueling heat and severed family ties. This cruel action springs from the overreach of our own government, which then proceeds to sell these innocent creatures.

Much more disturbing are the inhumane methods employed in these round-ups, such as the use of helicopters and ATVs, which sadly results in needless harm, and at times fatal consequences for our wild horses. The government's approach to wild horse management not only violates animal rights, but it also fundamentally disrupts the natural harmony of our ecosystem. According to the Humane Society, over 45,000 wild horses were removed from their natural habitats across the U.S during the past decade (source: Humane Society of the United States).

The federal court just allowed for 2 large herds to be completely removed from the Wyoming pains.

This summer a horse collapsed in 100° weather from heat exhaustion, then was brutally kicked and abused by one of the BLM workers because she was unable to get up.   They take no consideration of the wealth fare of these beautiful animals during this process.  Young foals are removed from mothers.

Horses create strong bonds and those bonds are abruptly severed at the benefit of the government.

Thus, we call for an immediate cessation of these harsh and damaging practices. Let us advocate for the enforcement of harmless round-up methodologies and the comprehensive reform of wild horse management, putting an end to the injurious treatment, entrapment, and killing of our wild horses.

We beseech every individual who values the rights of animals and the preservation of our natural wonders to support this cause. Please, sign this petition to safeguard our wild horses from suffering and exploitation. Our wildlife is our heritage and it's high time we protected it.

I don't need money,  just please sign and share.   Thank you so much!
