I hope everyone has had a restful and happy holiday period over Christmas and New Year and thank you to all of you who have continued to sign and support this petition.

It is a brilliant report and one that will provide clear and concise insight to the true extent of the monstrosity being proposed by the current government.
The Government proposals have NOTHING to do with affordable housing. Do NOTHING to address the impact on environment, infrastructure, utilities, roads and least of all the existing local residents across Melbourne.
Representatives from Highett, Hampton and Hampton East (including myself) will be meeting with Katherine Copsey MLC for Southern Metro soon. Recent discussions with other representatives across Melbourne have uncovered an interesting trend. Every politician we have met, emailed or spoken to so far has had little to no understanding of the magnitude of the government "Activity Centre" proposals, and the impact on local communities.
I'll keep you all up to date as I find out more information. Please pass the message on we have to fight for our suburbs. We are at the risk of losing it all.
