Hi! Thank you to everyone who has supported this petition and circulated it to friends and neighbors. In the past couple of days, I connected with two other FG residents who had also been gathering signatures, and we've teamed up to work on this shared goal together. Next Thursday, June 15, there will be a Community Board transportation hearing at which the Department of Traffic is expected to present their plans for this intersection, which may be nothing more than a painted crosswalk. This falls short of the stop sign we want, and the parking spot at the corner that creates a blind turn onto Willoughby may not be addressed. Please join us at the meeting, and share your personal stories about this crossing, if you are so inclined. The more concerned neighbors who attend, the stronger impact we will have.
