The Issue

Official Statement in Response to False and Harmful Media Reports

We, the undersigned, as free Iranians and loyal supporters of His Majesty Reza Shah II and the Constitutional Monarchy of Iran, express our strongest objection to the false and misleading reports recently published by Haaretz and the BBC.

These outlets have irresponsibly portrayed the civic, cultural, and political activities of Iranian monarchists as “cyber operations” or “artificially generated propaganda.” These accusations are false, defamatory, and dangerous.

The monarchist movement represents a legitimate national struggle deeply rooted in Iran’s 1906 Constitutional Revolution and supported by millions of Iranians who seek freedom, democracy, and lawful governance under the Pahlavi constitutional framework.

Collaboration with the Regime and Its Consequences:

By publishing false information that undermines the Iranian monarchist movement, Haaretz and the BBC are either knowingly or unknowingly supporting the Islamic Republic’s disinformation strategy.

This regime has a long record of using propaganda and media manipulation to discredit opposition figures, distort international perception, and justify repression against dissidents.

Such reporting directly endangers Iranian citizens. Inside Iran, monarchists, activists, and journalists are routinely imprisoned, tortured, or executed under fabricated accusations of “foreign collaboration.” When Western outlets repeat these narratives, they validate the regime’s propaganda and assist in the silencing of Iranian voices seeking freedom.

Labeling monarchist supporters as agents of foreign states is not journalism, it is complicity with oppression. It helps a terrorist regime maintain its hold on power and threatens both Iranian citizens and the global Iranian diaspora.

Our Demands

We therefore call on Haaretz and the BBC to:

  1. Issue a formal correction and public apology for spreading false and harmful claims.
  2. Commit to international journalistic standards of accuracy, neutrality, and responsibility, especially when reporting on oppressed peoples.

If no corrective action is taken within ten (10) days of this statement, we will initiate legal proceedings through appropriate international channels to protect the reputation and safety of Iranian citizens.

Long Live His Majesty Reza Shah II

Long Live Iran
