Hi everyone. We have a small update regarding the preservation and conservation status of the Galapagos. We temporarily paused our petition because the world heritage meeting in China was cancelled and we were waiting for a new date. Good news, a plan has been talked about to extend the marine reserve to 445,953 sq km, more than three times the size of the existing protected area. This proposal, although not yet approved by Moreno, would benefit fishermen, biodiversity and reduce the impact of climate change. We hope this plan becomes a reality and we ask you to keep fighting for the Galapagos until it happens. Once again, thank you for supporting this petition and keep sharing it.
